DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES, LIANA CONYER'S RESIDENCY HAD TO BE CANCELED, INCLUDING THIS CLASS AND THE PERFORMANCE ON MARCH 30.
The class will focus on moving from the inside out, with an emphasis on collective embodiment. We will explore somatic, post-modern, and African dance movements in order to access body fluidity, dynamic variation, and artistic expression. We will pay close attention the the analysis of time, space, and energy as it applies to movement concepts.
