Moving Target Portland w/ Molly Hess

  • The Living Room 408 Broadway South Portland, Maine USA (map)

Moving Target Portland is a weekly community movement class open to all levels of adult and teen dancers/movers. Drop-in and pay at the door or register beforehand on our website. $8-16 sliding scale.

Class Description:
A continuously moving guided warm up (based in developmental movement patterns) will prepare us to dive boldly into improvisational dance scores that we will approach with care, but explore without preciousness. We’ll play with memory, momentum, and bad magic tricks. There won’t be a lot of counting but there will be a lot of dancing. This class is open to people of all ages and experiences.
